Excuses... Excuses.

Now that I am revisiting my blog I want to simply fill in why there have been no updates since August of last year. The summer is nice for a teacher they have time to do the things that they did not do during the school year. Agility training continues with Coralee.
I turn 30
I start Geocaching as a way to walk more with the dogs and explore more fun places and things.

So now that I have filled you in I am starting two spin off blogs and we will see where they go.
The first is: Caching PWDs
http://cachingpwds.blogspot.com/
This will be focused on the adventures and misadventures of Coralee, SASE and I as we learn about Geocaching.
The second is: Mr. Kraus' 8th grade science blog
http://mrkraussciencepage.blogspot.com/
This is pretty self explanatory. But I am going to see if I can get students involved in thinking about science every once in a while outside of school and in their regular lives.
This will truly be an experiment. I thought about making this a video blog but I don't know if it will work.

Anyways I have written a whole bunch and I don't even know how many people will be reading this.
Enjoy

Another Dog in our House

And then there were two... This is S.A.S.E .. Which stand s for Self Addressed Stamped Envelope. She came from Sweden. She says Vwooof!Who could not love that face? And yes we do occasionally put her hair up. Do you have a problem with that?

This past year we got a new dog. We thought we were insane at the time and still question our sanity often. However, Coralee was happy she had a playmate that could keep up with her antics and energy and we were happy that Coralee was happy. SASE is also a Portuguese Water Dog who came over from sweden. She is just about exactly one year younger than Coralee is. We have taken her through 2 training classes and are thinking about working on either Obedience training or Agility. It is really actually fun to train your dog they get attached to you that way. PWDs are working dogs...they need a mission in life. Here are a few more pictures. These two are the host of my new site about Geocaching. If you have never heard of it check out this page http://www.geocaching.com/.

Last but not least here is another link because SASE also has her own website too. SASE at Dogs of CnSand PWD
Both of these links are also on the side bar of this page.
Enjoy!
